I recently spent time with one of my best friends just “being” together, quietly in my home, with zero activities planned. Can we say GAME CHANGER?! In a weekend filled with “nothing” on the schedule, we accomplished SO much…from meaningful life conversations and mindset work, to closing deals with clients and more.
You see, I used to think that when my doctor told me that I “shouldn’t need a break from my life”, it was a load of crap! I was taught like everyone else, that being a busy-bee was the only way to be successful…buy why? What I have since learned is that we should be working towards finding the freedom that comes from creating harmony between work and our personal life needs. Taking the leap of faith to trust that we actually get MORE from doing less…it’s uncomfortable & scary at first, but it is so worth it!
